Based on several years of research and two patent applications, a group of Berlin scientists decided to spin off the Charité. Portus was recommended to them as a founder coach for the support. The financing of the start-up coaching was provided by a consulting grant, so that the founders' budget did not have to be burdened.
In the following weeks, topics such as corporate strategy, business model and financing were on the agenda. Regular meetings and telephone calls were held for this purpose. At the same time, they worked together on the business plan and financial planning. PORTUS introduced the founders to several investors and supported them in applying for BMBF funding. All issues relating to business start-ups were dealt with.
After the company was founded, coaching on questions of corporate management followed. From our many years of experience, we always had the right solutions at hand.
